Come see us at the South Britain Congregational Church, and you’ll find a community that
welcomes all, serves God and our neighbors, and cares for one another.  Visit us on a Sunday
morning at 10:00 a.m., and you’re likely to hear about efforts such as providing back-to-school
backpacks for kids in Waterbury, preparing for our traditional Apple Festival, rehearsals for one of
four musical groups, or a special recognition for our terrific Sunday School teachers and kids.

We’ve met in South Britain (an historic area in the town of Southbury) since 1761; our roots as a
Congregational Church run deep.  Our denomination is the United Church of Christ.  Members and
friends of the church come from a wide variety of different religious traditions.  We don’t pretend to
have all the answers.  Instead, we enjoy exploring the questions of faith.

As you drive by, you may be struck by the simple beauty of our church building and location.
Come in our doors, and you’ll find something even more special—a real community of love and joy.
